In the mood for a girly read? It couldn’t get more highschool girly than this. If you are a fan of Mean Girls, this one is a definite go to. The whole concept of teenagers being labelled ‘prettiest’ and ‘ugliest’ and how that would affect their behaviour and the events that would follow can’t get more exciting, if you are looking for that superficial exciting kind of excitement.
Not just that, the eight individual stories offers such variety of experiences that it doesn’t get boring even if you read for eight hours straight. Each story is as different from one another as the colours of the rainbow. Different, yet they intertwine so well.
Although I should warn that with so many female characters, it takes you half the book to get a hang of all their names and memorize who’s who.
I should mention that I heard the audio book of this novel and that just added to the charm.
