If the title seems too cliché to you, ah! well… even I was surprised that there weren’t a thousand novels by this name already.
Unlike the title, the story isn’t quite cliché. Yes, it is about two friends who were inseparable during their childhood and ended up separating as the evil adolescence stepped in. but the story goes much beyond these two friends getting back together.
This is one of those books that starts with a bang. It begins in the middle of some random incident and hooks you up to keep on reading further to figure the how and why of that event.
This is also one of those books that contains pockets of absolutely humorous, at times non sensical dialogues/ events. I mean the kind you just can’t believe could actually have happened. But but but, its written in such a way that you just end up shaking your head and laughing at the idiocy of the situation.
Over all, this book will make you laugh and still touch your heart with its ‘just like me’ characters. It is the kind of book that you might not remember three years later, but whenever you go to the bank to withdraw money (read the book to understand the meaning), you will remember something about this book and end up with that non- maskable grin on your face which will make you look like an absolute idiot.
